Steel Drum

The steel drum has been a huge part of my life ever since I enrolled in the program my high school offered for it. While in high school, I served as a tutor for struggling students. Going on tour to Las Vegas, we performed at Circus Circus, local elementary schools, and many other stops. I also got the opportunity to perform on the news, and even alongside pop star Jason Mraz in his musical "Shine" to promote diversity, and inclusion in the arts. I composed all parts of a work entitled "Wind" for the ensemble, and continue to come back as a guest performer, speaker, and alumni assistant.
